The owners of Portofino Bay Restaurant on Castle Rock Lake in Mauston had an apartment in the beautiful bay in Italy and wished to bring a touch of its beauty to their restaurant.

I was able to use the architecture of the steps and walls to mimic the natural inlet that is the bay.
